Over the years, I have been involved in a number of TV shows where we have investigated complaints about holiday infections from members of the public who have spent their hard earned cash on an all-inclusive holiday. The problem with these types of holiday is you have what I call a tug of expectations – the holiday company wants to make the most money possible whilst the customer wants to get the most out of the holiday often in terms of drinks and food. This doesn’t stack up – corners are often cut to preserve profits and that is when trouble starts.
This clip shows what happened at a holiday village in Turkey which I investigated for Watchdog in 2009
