With over 35 years’ experience, Dr Lisa Ackerley is a leading voice in hygiene, safety, and environmental health strategy.

DR LISA ACKERLEY is a public health and hygiene scientist, and a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner. She is Professorial Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health with over 35 years’ experience in enforcement, central government, academia, consultancy, expert witness and media work.

She was until recently Director of Public Health and Hygiene Engagement at Reckitt. Previously safety adviser to UK Hospitality, Lisa has extensive and practical understanding of how to help food businesses operate safely.

Lisa has a depth of Board experience in many sectors and is currently Chair of the Reckitt Global Hygiene Institute Board, Chair of Food Alert Technical Advisory Board, Chair of the RSPH Food Special Interest Group and a Trustee of the IFH.

Lisa works in collaboration with her extensive network and is able to provide a wealth of additional support from other experts, whatever the public health issue.
